Two-time champion of the North American National Basketball Association (NBA) as part of the Los Angeles Lakers club, Ukrainian Stanislav Medvedenko sold his championship rings in support of Ukraine at a charity auction.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the official website David Kohler’s SCP Auctions.

As a result, the lots were sold for more than $250,000: $126,767 each.

The collected funds Medvedenko will attract to his own fund “Reach Heaven”, which is engaged in the rehabilitation of children affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine and the restoration and refurbishment of sports infrastructure in destroyed and damaged Ukrainian schools.

As reported, Medvedenko put up for auction the rings that won the championship in the NBA in 2001-2002.
