As reported, since July 15, the submission of documents from candidates for the positions of members of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine has begun. Application applications can be submitted from July 15 to August 22, 2022 inclusive.

At the same time, applications that were submitted before the suspension of the competitive procedures are considered valid, as well as the documents added to these applications.

The Competition Commission has also created conditions for facilitating the submission of application documents. In particular, candidates can submit, instead of the text of the declaration and the corresponding certificate of no criminal record, only a statement of the fact and date of submission of this declaration to the NAPC, as well as a statement of the absence of a criminal record and criminal prosecution.

Also, the competition committee decided that IQ and general skills tests would not be conducted.

The HQCJ has not been operating for almost three years, and in order to resume its work, a competition commission has been created that will select candidates for the positions of members of the HQCJ on the basis of a transparent competition. The acceptance of applications for participation in the competition began on February 4, 2022 and was supposed to continue until March 4, 2022, but was suspended due to Russian aggression.

At the second stage, an interview will be held with the selected candidates, as a result of which the commission must select and submit for consideration by the VRP at least two candidates for each of the 16 vacancies.
