The 2022 World Chess Olympiad continues in Chennai, India.

In the eighth round, the Ukrainian women’s team took the first points from the leader of the competition, the Indian team, drawing 2:2, Ukrinform reports.

All games ended in peace: Humpy Koneru – Maria Muzychuk, Anna Muzychuk – Harika Dronavalli, Rameshbabu Vaishali – Anna Ushenina and Natalia Buksa – Tanya Sachdev.

The men’s team of Ukraine today meets with the chess players of Brazil.
