The State Property Fund in the first half of the year ensured the conclusion of state real estate lease agreements for UAH 3.9 million.

This is reported press office SPFU, reports Ukrinform.

According to the Fund, in the first half of the year, lease agreements for state real estate in the amount of UAH 3.8 million were terminated. At the same time, new contracts amounted to UAH 3.9 million.

“It was possible to maintain the attractiveness of leasing state property, including thanks to a government decree. It has simplified and accelerated the rental procedures and provided preferential terms for tenants during the period of martial law”, – said acting. head of the State Property Fund Olga Batova.

The SPFU reminded that by the end of this year, objects located in war zones are completely exempt from rent. In the areas affected by the war, tenants of state property were exempted from paying rent until September 30. And until May 30, rent was not paid in regions where there was a threat of hostilities.

In addition, relocated enterprises received benefits. A business that transports its facilities to safe regions was given the opportunity to pay 1 hryvnia per 1 m² during the first six months of renting state property.

As reported, in June the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on facilitating the relocation of enterprises under martial law and the economic recovery of the state (registration No. 7451).

The document creates conditions for accelerating privatization processes in Ukraine, simplifies the ongoing activities to prepare for the privatization and sale of state / municipal property both during the introduction of martial law and in peacetime.

It also makes it impossible to privatize objects of large-scale privatization during the period of martial law and speeds up the receipt and renewal of permits and licenses for owners of privatized objects.
