Some statements of “military experts” about the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the time of the active phase of the war can be added to the list of sins, because the enemy benefits from them.
According to Ukrinform, this was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar in her Telegram.
“The comments of “military experts” on the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the time of the active phase of the war should already be included in the list of the 11th sin. A respectable journalist and a no less respectable former high-ranking military man are on the air talking about how to deceive the enemy with information. And at the same time give concrete examples of real statements. For example, if information is provided that a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is planned on such and such an object – and they name a real object, then, in their expert opinion, the strike should be expected somewhere at another object. And this information, in their opinion, is aimed at the enemy concentrating forces on a false object,” Malyar said.
She considers this an example of direct harm to the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The interlocutors demonstrate how well they are aware that information about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a certain direction (and they name the direction) is, in their opinion, an information strategy. And they are trying to discuss how such a strategy is justified,” adds the Deputy Minister of Defense.
This also, in her opinion, undermines the credibility of the statements of the military-political leadership of the country. While the undermining of such trust during the war weakens the process of consolidating society for the sake of victory.
“Who benefits from this now? Enemy,” concludes Malyar.
As reported, the Ministry of Defense accuses Amnesty International of distorting the real picture of Russia’s crimes against Ukraine.
