The Kyiv region has signed a Memorandum with the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation, which provides for the resumption of the life of the communities affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleba in Telegram.

“We continue to establish cooperation with international partners. I met with Aramis Pendend, Advisor to the Early Recovery Project of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation, Kuleba said.

He added that on behalf of the Kyiv OVA, he signed and submitted to the UK for signature a Memorandum of Understanding with the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation.

Kuleba stressed that the Fund is working on the initiative and support of the UK government, as well as with the participation of 5 countries – the USA, Finland, Canada, Switzerland and Sweden.

“The main areas of interaction are the resumption of the life of the communities of the Kiev region that have suffered from the armed aggression of Russia. We will implement our plans by implementing joint pilot projects in the field of energy saving, restoration of public buildings and the provision of special equipment and expert assistance in civil protection of the population of our region,” the head of the KOVA emphasized.

Kuleba thanked foreign partners for international assistance and stressed that such support is extremely important for the long-term development of the communities of the Kyiv region.

As reported, 11 residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities that have suffered the most damage from Russian shelling are being restored in Kyiv.
