In France, due to drought, more than 100 municipalities have no drinking water in their pipes.

This figure was cited on Friday by Ecological Transition Minister Christophe Bashu, Ukrinform reports with reference to the TV channel. BFMTV.

“Today, more than a hundred municipalities in France no longer have drinking water,” the minister said, calling the situation “historic.”

According to him, drinking water is delivered by truck in these municipalities.

“There are deliveries that are made by truckloads of potable water…because there is nothing left in the pipes,” Beshu said.
