Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak confirmed on Saturday that the government of North Macedonia will provide tanks and aircraft to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while thanking the Macedonian friends.
He wrote about this on the official Twitter pageaccording to Ukrinform.
“Friend is known in trouble. It doesn’t matter what size your country or GDP is, what matters is what kind of heart you have. Many nations today show more courage than half of the G20. Like North Macedonia, lending a shoulder to Ukraine in the form of tanks and planes,” wrote a representative of the OPU.
He also added that Ukraine, for its part, will never forget this.
As reported, this week information appeared in the media about the readiness of North Macedonia to transfer to Ukraine, including four Su-25s. However, on Friday, the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that they could not yet officially confirm this information.
Earlier, North Macedonia handed over to Ukraine four Su-25 attack aircraft received in 2001 from Ukraine.
