The film crew of the Tokyo Broadcasting System is in Ukraine from August 1 to 8 to prepare a program about Ukrainian media workers.

This is reported press office National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, Ukrinform reports.

“TVS is preparing a special analytical program on wartime information challenges. In it, they plan to analyze the mistakes that the media make when covering wars and conflicts,” the report says.

Representatives of TVS visited “Public” and also watched the work on the broadcasts of the national marathon “United News”.

At the same time, as the National Council informs, Japanese journalists got acquainted with their Chernihiv colleagues, in particular, Oleksandr Kotenko, a correspondent of Obshchestvenny, and Andrei Kuzmenko, a cameraman of the Novy Chernihiv TV channel, who spoke about their work during the blockade of Chernihiv by the Russian troops.

As you know, TVS plans to prepare its material for the broadcast by the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the war in Japan, which is celebrated on August 15th. According to representatives of the channel, the lack of freedom of speech in Japan during the Second World War led to a huge number of victims.
