Residents of Kherson reported that on the evening of August 5 they once again began to hear explosions and see flashes in the sky.

It is reported by Ukrinform with reference to 24th channel.

The network writes that the Darevsky bridge across the Ingulets River and the positions of Russian troops next to it were attacked.

“23:20 – strikes on the Daryevsky bridge or nearby,” local residents write.

The day before, explosions were also reported in the occupied Nova Kakhovka. Locals pointed out that there was even an alarm siren buzzing.

So far, there has been no official confirmation as of the beginning of the next day.

The bridge across the Ingulets is part of the road from the Kakhovskaya HPP. After the damage to the Antonovsky bridge on July 26, the hydroelectric power station remained one of two routes where the Russians can transfer their equipment to occupied Kherson.
