Actor Nikita Dzhigurda in an interview with Pravda.Ru spoke about the initiative of a State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharevwho called for the deprivation of property of artists who left the Russian Federation.

Dzhigurda said that he did not support the “witch hunt”. He urged to separate those celebrities who are “engaged in spite” and those who left because of fear and misunderstanding, believing the information of the world media, which, according to him, spread fakes about the Russian army and the special operation in Ukraine.

“They could get in. They are not professionals, so you need to figure it out,” the artist expressed his point of view.

The star of the film “Love in Russian” advised to start tax and salary checks among civil servants, as they do in the West.

“It would be good to start with officials, with deputies. In Europe, they come to any official, to any civil servant and say: “Here is your huge house, it is expensive. Where does the money come from?” – said Dzhigurda.

The actor suggested that Ivan Urgant, Maxim Galkin, Chulpan Khamatova can still change their point of view. He cited as an example the head of the Theater of Nations Evgenia Mironovawho, after a trip to the Donbass, took a different look at the situation.

“So we need to give them time to repent,” says Dzhigurda.

Former actress and TV presenter Evelina Bledans did not approve of the idea deprive the property of celebrities who left the Russian Federation after the start of a special operation in Ukraine.
