Western governments are increasingly concerned about deepening economic ties between Turkey and Russia.

On Friday, Russian President Putin and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan agreed to intensify cooperation in transport, agriculture, finance and construction.

Six Western officials said they were concerned about the agreement.

As reported, at the talks in Sochi, the presidents of Russia and Turkey also agreed on transition to partial payment for Russian gas in rubles.
