The town of Kreminna, in eastern Ukraine, has collapsed, according to the UK Ministry of Defense. However, they did not provide further details on the fall of the city in Luhansk.

The British Defense Ministry said Russian forces were engaged in fierce fighting with Ukrainian forces south of the city of Izum as they tried to advance north and south into Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

According to the BBC, Russian forces have taken control of the town of Kreminna, home to some 18,000 inhabitants, according to earlier reports.

Russian forces are believed to be trying to encircle highly secure Ukrainian positions in the Danbas region, they said.

According to the report, Ukrainian forces are preparing to defend themselves against the possibility of Russian forces attacking the town of Zaporizhiya from the south. However, the BBC could not independently verify the information.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has claimed that NATO has entered into a proxy war with Russia by providing arms to Ukraine. He also warned the West not to underestimate the threat posed by nuclear war over the Ukraine issue.

The Russian foreign minister made the remarks in an interview broadcast on state television on Monday.

He says Russia has destroyed more than a dozen weapons in Ukraine. Even then, how is the weapon going there? Clearly, NATO continues to supply them with weapons. NATO has entered into a proxy war with Russia by arming Ukraine. Ukraine is using this weapon to attack the Russian army.
