Deebo Samuel is seeking a new deal with the San Francisco 49ers, and the goal of a wide receiver is too high.
Samuel strives to be one of the highest paid recipients in the NFL. Not only that, but Clarence Hill of Fort Worth Star Telegram has stated that she wants the highest paid non-quarterback in the league.
Samuel is more than just a wide receiver. He got a third season break in San Francisco. He got 77 passes for 1,405 yards and 59 lungs for 365 yards. He has also made a total of 14 touchdowns and established himself as one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL.
Being so important to his team’s attack, Samuel is more valuable than the best receivers in the game. He has seen the huge contract extensions signed by these players in the off-season and is looking for more from them, which can only be a negotiation strategy.
Either way, Samuel doesn’t seem to be happy about his situation. There wasn’t a very subtle way to show it on social media this week. The Niners have time for them, but Samuel may try to put more pressure on them as the season breaks.
