The scientists behind the discovery in Utah, United StatesThey named the finding ‘ghost footprints‘.

These footprints are defined this way because they can only be seen after each rain, as they turn dark and then, when they dry, they disappear.

Likewise, the scientific news portal ‘lifescience‘ highlighted that these footprints would be approximately 10,000 to 12,000 years old. Which would make them belong to the last ice age.

The 88 footprints were found in the ‘Great Salt Lake Wilderness‘ border with Nevada.

One of the researchers assured that this finding is “once in a lifetime”. The scientists behind the discovery are investigating in depth.

The ‘Great Salt Lake Desert’ is known to have been occupied by humans until 10,000 years ago.

Likewise, objects such as an old fireplace, tools, hundreds of animal bones and tobacco seeds were found at the site.
