The Attorney General’s Office advances in a second investigative phase against a criminal organization that would have appropriated public contracting in various departments of the country, whose articulator would be a senator of the Republic, we are talking about Mario Castaño who is detained for this investigation.

The evidence material shows that Herrera Correa signed two inter-administrative contracts with the Administrative Department for Social Prosperity (DPS), in August and November 2021, for a value of 22,173 million pesos Y 49,460 million pesos, respectively. The agreements contemplated the construction of highways and the adaptation of tertiary roads in about 20 municipalities of Quindío, Risaralda, Chocó and Caldas.
