Two policemen were injured after being attacked by armed individuals on the Pan-American highway at the height of the municipality of Jamundí, in an area known as Las Veraneras.
One of the soldiers was taken in a taxi to a health center, while the other hid in the bushes while reinforcements arrived.
The Metropolitan Police preliminary reported that both uniformed are being treated, one has a wound in the calf and another in the lower back, apparently the gunmen were hiding in a wooded area in the Postobón sector.
