A year ago, Elena Gerlach* discovered a new hobby for herself – participation in state lotteries. On the eve of the 487th draw of the state “Housing Lottery”, a woman dreamed of numbers: three sevens and one four. At the Russian Post office, a resident of the Krasnodar Territory remembered a night vision and chose a ticket with these numbers in the number. So Elena Robertovna was lucky enough to win a two-room apartment worth 4 million rubles.

The woman found out about the prize when she watched the program “We win!” on TV.

– When I heard that there is a winner from the Krasnodar Territory, my eyes widened! I took my glasses and grabbed the TV monitor, then the ticket, then back to the TV! She screamed with joy so much that she could not speak for the next two days! says the winner.

The heroine of the edition issued the prize with money.

I dreamed of a new home for a long time. The universe heard me! To win I’ll pick up a cozy apartment in my region, the woman adds.

Elena is retired. Throughout her life, she tried many different professions: she was a cook, a janitor, a gas station attendant. The ticket holder has three adult sons and a daughter, grandchildren are growing up. In her free time, she embroiders icons and landscapes with beads.

I’m not going to stop there. I am sure that many victories await me ahead. For the next multi-million dollar prize, I’ll buy myself a car! – the southerner shares.

Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state-owned, they are organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, and they are held under the state supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
