All prepared in the Huelva town of Cartaya where this Saturday will take place the I Endurance Race 3×2 Castillo de los Zúñigaswhich will continue the second part of the cycling season after the summer break, with this new test in the province of Huelva.

On a circuit scrupulously enlivened by the organization of almost 7 semi-urban kilometers, the participants will pass through the Castillo de los Zúñiga (15th century) in the surroundings of the Rivera de la Puntazuela.

The test consists of the modalities in pairs, which will be male, female and mixed and individually, the “Titans” of the event, with categories by age, winning the components that make the most laps in the 3 hours of development, having the Start to 7:00 p.m. from the Plaza Redonda de Cartaya where all the Start/Finish infrastructure will be located.

There will be representation from Extremadura, Cádiz, Seville, Portugal and almost the entire province, highlighting the presence of Beatriz Gallego, Spanish XCO, XCM runner-up and Provincial Champion in all XCO-XCM and XCMM modalities, Javier Macías, Spanish XCO Champion and recently Masters runner-up with his brother José Carlos Macías from the last Cape Epic, Emilio Martín, three-time Duathlon world champion; Alejo Fuentes, from Malaga, champion of Spain in the BTT Ultramarathon and two-time champion of Spain XCM; Ismael Santiago, Andalusia XCO Elite Cup Champion, Andalusia XCO Champion; the Portuguese Pedro Brito, World Champion of security forces and bodies in BTT, among many who will take the Start.

In addition, we will have the presence of Alberto Barroso Gómez, a member of the Spanish BTT team in the U23 category who, taking advantage of his well-deserved summer break after his remarkable performance in the last World Championships in Vall Nord and bronze in the National Championship held two weeks ago in Candeleda ( Ávila), we will have him with us at the delivery of Trophies.

The organization has won 90 prizes, valued at almost €6,000, entirely donated by 17 collaborating sports companies, both local and from all over the province. All the city’s cycling clubs, CDC Cartaya, CD Team Luis Vaz, Barrilete Bike, Peña el Almendral, Peña Ribera de Cartaya and the Ultreya Trail Club join the event, either participating or volunteering many of its members in what is expected be a great afternoon of competition and fun around two fat wheels.
