The Municipality of Cartaya This morning, the placement of 16 new surveillance cameras and traffic regulation has begun, on municipal roads in the urban area and coastal areas.
Regarding the characteristics of the new cameras, they have the DORI parameter (Detection, Observation, Recognition and identification of objects through a video surveillance system), they offer high quality images, excellent performance in low light and the license plate recognition.
In addition, this technology provides sharp color images 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in very low light thanks to advanced lenses and high-performance sensors.
The mayor highlights the new camera service
The mayor, Pepa González Bayo, and the Councilor for Citizen SecurityJosé Ángel Rodríguez, have highlighted that “with the implementation of this new service, we continue to take steps forward in our commitment to guarantee security, and in our commitment to modernize police management, providing it with new tools that facilitate the development of its functions”.
In this sense, “our priority is to provide greater security to citizens at strategic points and access routes to the town, through this system, which we will expand to other areas of the town”, the municipal officials have assured. .
